PPR pipe, also known as tri-propylene pipe, random copolymer polypropylene pipe, is a kind of pipe made of random copolymer polypropylene, which has the advantages of energy saving, environmental protection, light weight and high strength, corrosion resistance, smooth inner wall without scale, easy construction and maintenance, and long service life compared with traditional cast iron pipe, galvanized steel pipe and cement pipe.

PPR pipes are widely used in construction, municipal, industrial and agricultural fields such as building water supply and drainage, water supply and drainage, city gas, power and fibre optic cable sheathing, industrial fluid transfer and agricultural irrigation.

PPR pipes are manufactured by extrusion of PPR raw material, PPR extrusion processes are generally follow the same steps of typical pipe extrusion operations:

 Feeding of raw material pellets / powder into the PPR single screw extruder.

 Melting and heating in multiple extruder zones

 Extruding through a die to shape into a pipe

 Cooling of the shaped pipe

 Cutting of PPR pipes to the desired length
