Plastic extrusion is a process in which raw plastic is melted and formed into a designed shape. Plastic extrusion lines can produce different products such as pipes, boards, sheets, window frames, films and so on.

The process starts by feeding plastic material like pallets granules or powders from a hopper into the barrel of the extruder. The material is gradually melted by screws and heaters arranged along the barrel. The melted material is then forced into the mould, which shapes the material into designed shape. Then, it will move through a cooling tank and be cut into set length.
